James D. Morrison

James D. Morrison, 85, a loving father and grandfather of 168 N. Bennett Street, passed away, Monday, April 28, 2014, at his residence.

Born August 5, 1928, in Bradford he was a son of the late Harold and Josephine (Monti) Morrison.

Mr. Morrison was a 1946 graduate of Bradford High School and attended Clarion University. He worked as a draftsman at Dresser Manufacturing for 12 years and at Corning Glass for 22 years.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #108, the Eagles Club and the Corning Retirees.

Surviving are two sons Mark D. (Diane) Morrison, of Fenton, Missouri, and Richard (Marcia) Morrison of Bradford, a sister, Joanne M. Willard, of Hamburg, NY, 5 grandchildren, Katie Morrison, Susan Morrison, Emily Morrison, Michael Morrison, Michael McLanahan, and two nephews.

Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave. Friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Raymond Gramata officiating. Committal Services and Mausoleum entombment will be held at St Bernard Mausoleum.
