Patricia Jean Krantz, 83, formerly of 903 Songbird Road, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at The Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born June 14, 1931 in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Glenn D. and Florence (Huddleson) Williams.
On December 30, 1950 in Custer City, she married Ottis Warner Krantz, who passed away May 31, 1996.
She was a 1949 graduate of Bradford High School where she received a letter for the Rifle Team.
She was an active member of The West Branch United Methodist Church, where she was church Treasurer, Secretary and also sang in the Choir.
She worked as a waitress at several restaurants around the Bradford Area, including Togi's, The Holiday Inn, Glendorn, and was also a cook for the Bradford Area School District at Custer City and West Branch.
She was also a member and treasurer for The Christian Women, a member of Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, volunteered for The PTA, active in the 40 Coachmen Group and sang with the Glee Club at Morning Side RV Park in Dade City, FL.
She is survived by six daughters, Jeanne (Michael) Coyne, of Canandaigua, NY, Julie (Thomas) Hochuli, of Brookfield, WI, Mary (Wendell) Steinhauer, of Lumberton, NJ, Amy (Todd) Peine, of Bradford, Barbara (Chris) Kervin, of Derrick City and Nancy (John) Wentworth, of Lititz; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly (the late Matthew) Hannon, of Bradford; Mary Lou (Jack) Peterson, of Horseheads, NY; a brother, David Williams, of Hemphill, TX and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Williams.
Friends are invited to call from 11 AM to 1 PM, Thursday, January 15, 2015 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Gary Sheesley, pastor of the Duke Center United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
