Alice M. Kelley

Alice M. Kelley, 87, formerly of Pauls Lane, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at The Bradford Ecumenical Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 7, 1927 in Portville, NY, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence D. and Dolly (Burrows) VanDyke.

On August 16, 1947 in Olean, NY, she married Maynard E. Kelley, who passed away, August 13, 2008.

She was a 1943 graduate of Olean High School and attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. 

She and her husband were active members West Branch United Methodist Church for many years.   She was the Youth Director and taught the AMECA Couples class for many years.  

Before raising her family, she worked at Bell Telephone in Olean, NY. 

She and her husband were also founding members of the 40 Coachmen Travel Club and spent their winters in Florida. 

She is survived by three daughters, Kristine (Rev. Keith) Hillard, of Bradford, Cynthia (Tom) Defibaugh, of Bradford and Kathleen (Keith) Stickler, of Swannanoa, NC;  seven grandchildren, Kelley (Timothy) Kirschner of CT, Keith (Robyn) Hillard of Southbridge, MA, Krista (Jonathan) Souther of Yukon OK, Kevin Stickler of Alaska, Rebekah (Christopher) Faro of Cape Coral, FL, Pamela (Steven) Dinwiddle of Bedford, VA and David (Molly) Rissmiller of Bradford; 15 great grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. Lawrence VanDyke, of Meridian, MI; Barry VanDyke, of KY and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Stickler, a sister, Constance Onley and a brother, Donald VanDyke.

Friends are invited to call from 10-11 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2015 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave.Bradford, where funeral and committal services will be held at 11 AM, with Rev. Keith Hillard and Elder Keith Stickler, co-officiating. Burial will be in Lamphier Cemetery.
