Donald E. Gallagher, formerly of Bradford, 84, of 20 Ratcliffe Rd, Natchez, MS, passed away June 10, 2015 at Natchez Hospital. 

Born November 12, 1930 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Charles and Violet (Grant) Gallagher. 

He married Marilyn (Williams) Gallagher, who survives.   

He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.  He was employed at the Kendall Refinery for many years before moving to Natchez, MS, where he worked for Overby Pools. 

He was a 25-year member of the Community Chapel Church of God and was formerly a member of Hill Memorial United Methodist Church in Bradford. 

In addition to his wife of 61 years, he is survived by a daughter, Bonnie (Mike) Pace of Natchez; three sons, Donald (Debbie) Gallagher, Jr. of Seattle, WA, Jeff (Jan) Gallagher of Denver, CO and Kevin (Mary Ann) Gallagher of Baton Rouge, La; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia G. Roff of Bradford and Naoma Hutton of Greenville; a brother Lee Gallagher of Bradford and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. 

Funeral services and burial will be in Natchez.  Local arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.  Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to Hill Memorial United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
