Mildred L. Watson, 81, of 870 Wolf Run Road, Smethport, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, at her residence.
Born November 8, 1933, in Columbia MO, she was a daughter of the late William Alfred and Nelly Lucille (Roberts) Goodman.
On September 18, 1954 in Austin, she married Lester B. Watson who survives.
She was a homemaker and devoted wife mother and grandmother who was well known for her cooking and making the best pies.
She was a member of Overcomers Church of Faith in Aiken where she played the piano for over 10 years. She was a former member of the Faith Chapel.
In addition to her husband Lester of 60 years she is survived by two sons, Jonathan (Vanessa) Watson of Smethport and Joseph (Tammy) Watson of Smethport, 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one brother Bunky (Shirley) Goodman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Karen Watson and DeForest Watson.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, from 6;00pm to 8;00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., where funeral and committal services will be held at 8:00pm with Rev. Frank P. Hill, pastor of the Overcomers Church of Faith, officiating. Burial will be Watson Cemetery in Potter County.
