Sharon L. King, 70, of 150 Barbour Street, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born in Bradford on April 3, 1945, she was a daughter of the late William Emerus and Elizabeth (Kline) Bretherton, Sr.

On September 18, 1993, she married Robert J. King, Sr. who survives. 

She was a graduate of Bradford High School. 

She worked at many places in the Bradford area, including Zippo Manufacturing, The DeSoto  Holiday House, Tops Market, The Star Restaurant and Parkview Supermarket.  

She was an active member of the American Legion, Post #108 Frances Sherman Auxiliary.  

She is survived by three children, Vicki Zawatski, Troy Britton and Lori (Charlie) Britton, all of Bradford; a sister, Sandra Britton, of Erie; a brother, Richard Bretherton, of Kansas; four step children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by one step daughter. 

Friends are invited to call from 3-5 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2015 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., South Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 4, 2015, with Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, retired minister, officiating.
