I met this very nice man 5 years ago. My brother, Dick Patrick who now lives in Oklahoma was visiting me, he worked with Fred at Kendall in the chem lab,and we visited Fred then. I work at Bradford Regional Airport and had a wonderful chance to view a B17 that was grounded for a night there. Fred enlightened me on stories of his time with B17's..a very nice gentleman.

Dear Matvias family, so sorry for your loss, I worked for Fred years ago, siding his house and got to know him well in a short time, made a huge impact on myself and also my crew. Very special man, loved the stories he would share also. He was always kind to my sister Debi who lived across the road from him. The world is a dimmer place without him here. Again, sorry for your loss.
