Christopher J. Smith, 30, of 2 Bushnell St., passed away, Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his residence.
Born October 14, 1985 in Sodus, NY, he was a son of Rosemary (Youngs) Gascon and Ernest W. Smith, Sr., who both survive.
He was a 2005 graduate of Corning East High School.
He was an avid bowler in Special Olympics and earned several gold medals. He loved video games and watching wrestling. He was always willing to help someone in need.
In addition to his parents, both of Bradford, he is survived by a brother, John Pepper, Jr. of Elmira, NY; grandmother, Patricia Parlette of Savannah, NY; grandfather, Harold L. Smith of Pen Yann, NY and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest W. Smith, II and grandparents, Richard D. Youngs, Sr. and Thelma Manwarring.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the United Congregational Methodist Church, 134 Broad St., Salamanca, NY, with Pastor Mike Trenchard, officiating. Friends may also attend a memorial service at Noon Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the community room at 2 Bushnell St., with Jack Kerswill, Sr., officiating.
