Milly Glover

Milly Glover, 74, of 5632 Leonard Run  Limestone, NY, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Wellsville Manor in Wellsville, NY. 

Born on November 26, 1941 in Erie, CO, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary  Ann (Godeski) Grubich.

On June 28, 1962 she married James  W. Glover, who survives.

She was a 1959 graduate of Oak Creek High School in Colorado and attended airline school in Minneapolis, MN. 

She worked in Washington, DC for a time and then moved to Bradford and worked for Corning Glass Works.  While raising her family, she also worked as a Teacher's Aide through BOCES and managed the Star Lanes bowling alley in Bradford for a few years. 

She enjoyed bowling, playing euchre, bingo and candy making.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed James Patterson novels.  She especially enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, attending stock car races and she was an avid New York Yankees fan.   

In addition to her husband, Jim, she is  survived by three daughters, Michelle (Robert) Perkins, of Friendship, NY, Lynn (Thomas) Johnson, of Hinsdale, NY and Sandy (William) Peterson, of Olean, NY; six grandchildren, Nicholas Perkins, Erica Hamlet, Jennifer Herne, Brooke Johnson, Danielle Johnson and Jordan Peterson; two step grandchildren, Colette Harrison and Adam Peterson; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael James Glover and a brother, Joe Grubich. 

Friends are invited to call from 1-2 PM,  Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.,  East Main Street, where a memorial service will be held at 2PM with Rev. Peter Napierkowski, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Church in Salamanca, NY officiating.  Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Limestone, NY. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
