Robert J. McCracken, Jr., 62, of Jackson Ave., Bradford, passed away, Friday, December 9, 2016, at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born on January 2, 1954, in Geneva, OH, he was a son of the late Robert T. and Phyllis (Neely) McCracken, Sr.

Mr. McCracken attended Bradford Area Schools. He had been employed at New Bethlehem Burial, American Refining Group, and currently held the position of forman at B&T Cleaning. He was a member of the American Legion, Vet's Club, Eagles and the former Bradford Moose Club.

He is survived by his companion of 2 years, Kathy Schlopy, a step-daughter, Kathy J. Young, two step sons, Dennis (Melinda) Schlopy and Charles R. (Kristie) Schlopy all of Bradford, five sisters, Vickie Schlopy, Joyce Keller, Doreather Skaggs, Marie Beaupre, and Mary Ann Saddler all, of Bradford, a brother, Sam Mortimer, of Pittsburgh, eight grandchildren, Brandon Young, Alexandria Young, Joshua Young, Korbin Holly, Arauah Holly, Kala Levine, Dilon Reynolds and Faith Miller.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and sisters, Ted McCracken, Mike Saddler, Danny Neeley, Winnie Reid, Cindy Byerly, Tammy McCracken-Skaggs, Dawn Osmer and Lucy McCracken.

At the family's request there will be no public visitation or funeral services
