Sharon K. Vossler

Sharon K. Vossler, 70, of 500 East Main St., passed away, peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2017, at her residence.

Born September 8, 1946, in Salamanca, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Elizabeth (Lecceardone) Forris.

Sharon was a 1964 graduate of Salamanca High School and graduated with the first class at Olean Business Institute with a degree in accounting.

She attended St. Bernard Church and St. Francis Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading cards, but most especially spending time with her grandchildren. 

Sharon was a stay at home mom until her children were raised, later she worked the reservation desk at the DeSoto Motel in East Bradford.

Surviving is one daughter, Jennell L. Vossler, of Bradford, one stepson, Jonas Vossler, of Downingtown, one grandson Anthony Vossler, two sisters, Karla Blakeslee, of Salamanca, NY, and Connie Anderson, of Albany, NY, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Nicholas John Ash, September 6, 2005.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1:00pm in St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as Celebrant.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 

Memorials, if desired, may be made to Bradford Area Public Library or a charity of the donor's choice.
