Shirley J Chamberlin, 73, of Smethport, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, at Olean General Hospital.
Born September 17, 1943 in Erie, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anita (Lovejoy) Skillman. She attended Bradford Area High School.
Shirley was formerly married to Robert W. Hurd, Sr. and later to Harry A. Chamberlin who preceded her in death.
Shirley was a homemaker, enjoyed being a mother, spending time with her family, and watching the 700 club.
Surviving are two sons Rev Robert L, (Lisa) Hurd, of Butler, and William J. Hurd, of Smethport, two step daughters, Amy Paulik Hamilton, and Lanice Paulik, both of Bradford, two sisters, Joyce McLallen, of Bradford, and Janet Baker, of VA, four brothers, Alfred Skillman, of FL; David Skillman, of Bradford, Richard Skillman, of Bradford, and Ed Skillman, of Eldred.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, second husband, one infant son, Robert W. Hurd Jr., and two sisters.
Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 11:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., where funeral and committal services will be held at Noon, with Rev. Robert L. Hurd, her son, officiating.
