Gail A. Reid

Gail A.  Reid, 61, of 69 Clarence St. passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born December 15, 1955 in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of the late Buck Bickford and Bert Bickford, who survives. 

On March 8, 1991 in Limestone, NY, she married Thomas A. Reid, who also survives. 

She was a 1973 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School. 

After high school, she worked for McKean Container for a time and then for W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery for 30 years, retiring in 2016, 

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

She was a very active volunteer with all of her children's and grandchildren's sporting events and activities. 

Along with her husband, she loved to take their classic car to various shows around the area. 

In addition to her husband and her mother Bert, of Smethport, she is survived by six children, Barry (Sonja) Bacha, Amy (Carl) Stoltz, Tom (Tara) Reid and Andy (Nicole) Reid,  all of Bradford and Haleigh Reid and Michael Reid, both at home; 12 grandchildren, Erika, Andrew, Brandon, Ashley, Kylee, Austin, Kaleb, Wyatt, Eli, Vera, Cami and Sonny ; a sister, Deana (Brian) Johnson, of Smethport and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Friends are invited to call from 10-11 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2017 in The Grace Lutheran Church, where a memorial service will be held at 11 AM with Rev. Patrick Cox, pastor, officiating. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to McKean County CARE for Children or to the charity of the donor's choice.
