Leroy Frederick Brady
Leroy Frederick Brady, 55 days old, of 65 Derrick Road, passed away Thursday August 24, 2017 at Women & Children’s Hospital in Buffalo NY, in his parents arms, surrounded by family.
Born July 1, 2017 in Buffalo, NY, he was the twin son of Christopher S. and Kristin M. (Legawiec) Brady.
Tiny but mighty, those are the best words to describe Leroy. He fought an uphill battle from the beginning and never gave up fighting. Now he is his twin sisters guardian angel. He touched the lives of so many in the short time he was here, including the NICU nurses who quickly became like family. Although he left this earth too soon, his tiny little footprints left a big imprint on those around him.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his twin sister Sara Elizabeth Brady, big sister Kyla Brady, maternal grandparents Robin (Wally Green) Legawiec, and Frederick (Diane) Legawiec, paternal grandparents, Shayn (Linda) Murphy, maternal great grandmother Phyllis Lindquist, paternal great grandparents Ernest “Jim” and Janet Hanson, aunts and uncles, Megan (Tony Bevacqua) Murphy, Joel (Christi) Legawiec, Michele (Jon) See and Brian Payne and many cousins, great aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John E. Lindquist, maternal great great grandmother Sarah Genevieve Whelan, paternal great great grandparents Charles & Virginia Carroll, two paternal great aunts Elizabeth Diane Asel-Jolly, and Jean Rittenbury, one paternal great uncle Joseph Carroll.
Friends will be received on Wednesday August 30, 2017, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 372 East Main St. At5:00pm funeral services will be held with Shawn Murphy of the Open Arms Church officiating.
Memorials if desired may be made to the March of Dimes or Buffalo Women & Children’s Hospital.
