John C. Shall

John C. '8 ball' Shall, 72, of 24 Susquehanna Road, Custer City, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born June 22, 1945 in Kane, he was  a son of the late William A. and Mabel (Ross) Shall.

On April 5, 1969 in Bradford, he married Carol L. (Masters) Shall, who passed away December 30, 2002.

He was a local and over the road truck driver for over 40 years, working for Crosby Dairy, Popeil Trucking, R.C. Hackett, NBS Trucking, Griesbaum Trucking, he also worked for himself for a time and retired from Weaver Trucking. 

He was a member of the Moose, I.A.S., Marche Club, Eagles Club, American Legion Post 108 and VFW Post 212. 

Surviving are two daughters, Lynn Shall, of Timbuck and Tina B. (Jim) Barrett, of Lewis Run, two sons, Jim Shall, of Bradford, and Robert "BJ" (Betsy) Shall, of Marvindale; six grandchildren, Bobbi, Sue, John, Brittany, Joe, Katie and Kelsa; three step grandchildren, Rick, Sarah and Brock and five great grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Ana, Lilli and Olivia. 

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris and Dora; four brothers, William, James, Tink, and Tom and a son in law, Chip Griesbaum. 

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service in McKean Memorial Park at 2:00pm on Monday October  9, 2017.

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to the McKean County SPCA or the McKean County Raceway.
