Marie E. Coronati

Marie E. Coronati, 101, of Greensburg, formerly of 19 Roberts Street, Bradford, passed away, Friday, October 20, 2017, while in the company of family members, at Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Greensburg.

Born January 18, 1916, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Julia (Piscitelli) Pascale.

She was a member of St. Bernard Church, and Church of St. Paul in Greensburg.

Marie was actively involved with the Italian Festival in Bradford.  She enjoyed the camaraderie of baking cookies, frying dough and seeing family and friends.  Her house was always opened to family, friends and visitors alike.  You could never surprise her with extra guests for dinner as her pantry was always fully stocked.  Marie could whip up a meal in no time.  She would be offended if you did not eat or drink something at her home.  She made everyone feel welcome.

She had worked at Brown’s Boot Shop and Jarret’s Machine Shop.
