Richard A. Johnson

Richard A. Johnson, 71, of Crestline Road, in Sinnamahoning, passed away, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, in Pittsburgh.

Born November 9, 1946 in St. Mary's, he was a son of the late Alvie and Reva (Fiscus) Johnson. He was a 1964 graduate of Cameron County High School.

On March 14, 1966 he enlisted in the United States Army and served two tours Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on March 13, 1969. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Two Overseas Service Bars and the Sharpshooter Badge.

Richard was a self-employed general contractor in the Cameron County area. He later was employed by the State of Pennsylvania as the Regional Dog Law Warden.

Surviving is one son, Troy (Lori) Johnson, of Bradford, two grandchildren, Tori Johnson and Jacob Johnson, two sisters, Darlene (Ted) Walters, of Emporium, and Marlene (Charlie) Zimmer, of Emporium, and several nieces and nephews.

At Richard's request there will be no public services observed.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
