Lorraine C. Gross

Lorraine C. Gross, 87, of 136 High Street Bradford, passed away, Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at her residence.

Born January 28, 1931, in Bradford, she a daughter of the late Theron and Minnie Isabelle (Sweet) Ellis.

Lorraine was a gypsy, and never planted her feet in one spot for very long. She loved working at flea markets, and collecting and selling jewelry and anything else that she could make a buck on. She dearly loved her dogs.

Surviving are two sons Ace Deuce (Jeanie) Simmons Sr., of Bradford; James Joseph (Hope) Gross, of Bradford, one sister, Virginia Lisabeth Back, of IL, one brother, James Frederick Ellis, of AZ, grandchildren; Michelle Aaron-Simmons, Ace Simmons Jr., Christopher Simmons, Phillip Smith, Anastasia Gross, Holly Ann Porter, Brandi Porter, Nicholas Simmons, Cheryl Simmons, Lorraine (Simmons) Plowman, Theron (TJ) Jack Simmons Jr., Michael Simmons, Ace Ferry, Salena Ferry, Jenny Ferry, Kenny Ferry, Lisa Simmons, Dianna Simmons, Guylynn Simmons, Guy Simmons, Patrick Simmons, Johnny Simmons, Toshia Rasmussen, James Gross Jr., Tasia Rasmussen, David Gross, Jaimie Gross, Breanna Peterson, JackeeDawn Gross, Corbin Gross, Patrick Gross and many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Also, by her extended family which includes Steve (Betty) Simmons, Cindy (Bob) Skaggs, Sharon Cordner, Kelly (Tom) Knapp, Barbi Jo (Mike) Skaggs and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Gross; one daughter, Aldeana Mae Ferry; three sons Theron (TJ) & Guy Simmons and Kelvin Gross; three brothers, and one sister and three grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm Saturday October 6, 2018, the Hooker Fulton Building, 3rd Floor, rear entrance. Burial will be in Utah Veteran's Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
