Judith A Franklin

Judith A. Franklin, 87, formerly of 375 East Main Street, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, while in the company of family members, at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born September 6, 1931, Toledo, OH, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Pat (Swanson) Dove. She graduated from Youngsville High School.

On February 17, 1950 in Tidioute she married Louis A. Franklin who died September 1, 2017.

Judy was a member of St. Bernard Church, and enjoyed playing cards with the girls.

Surviving is one daughter, Kathy Franklin, of Spring, TX, one son, Jeffrey (Nora) Franklin, of Bradford, 5 grandchildren Danielle (Bryan) Ubnoski, Allison (Colin) Maddox, Laura (Steve) Currant, Louis (Susan Stuckey) Franklin, Kristen Franklin, five great grandchildren, Caleb Ubnoski, Audrey Ubnoski, Ella-Riley Currant, Ethan Current and Lennox Franklin, one sister Patricia (Art) Barilla, and several nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Gregory L. Franklin, one brother Jack Dove, four sisters, Joel Wiles, JoAnne Swanson, Sonna Johnson, and Priscella Williams.

There will be no public visitation. Private services will be held for family in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. East Main St., with Rev. Stanley Swacha, Senior Associate of St. Bernard Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

A public Memorial Mass will be celebrated in the spring in St. Bernard Church which the public will be invited to attend.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
