Jayne M. Weaver

Jayne M. Weaver, 99, of Lutherville, MD, formerly of 491 Seaward Avenue, Bradford, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Stella Maris Nursing Home in Timonium MD.

Born December 21, 1918 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late James Leonard and Myrtle (Moore) Radebaugh.

Jayne was a graduate of Bradford High School and received her Degree in Teaching from Mansfield State Teachers College.

On July 18, 1941 she married Stanley D. Woodard who died in Germany in 1944. On August 3, 1956 she married John W. "Jack" Weaver, who died February 17, 2002.

She was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church, Current Events Club, Eastern Star, Orakettes, and Pine Acres Country Club. She was an avid bridge player and at one time played with three different groups.

Jayne had been employed as a teacher in Pennsylvania and Florida. After she retired she spent several months a year at their winter home in Eleuthera Bahamas.

Surviving is one daughter Susan (Frank) Weiss of Lutherville MD, two sons, Tom (Onalee) Weaver and Tim (Jody) Weaver all of Bradford, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Friends will be recieved on Saturday April 6, 2019, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the First Presbyterian Church, at 11:00 am a memorial service will be held with Rev. Rob Klouw, Co-pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

The family requests donations be made to the Bradford Public Library.
