Timothy R. "Tim" Phillips, 67, of Bradford, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born November 22, 1951 in Salamanca, he was a son of the late Charles "Buster" and Vivian (Tennies) Phillips.
On September 8, 1979, in the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, he married Robyn L. (Black) Phillips who survives.
Tim was a 1969 graduate of Salamanca High School, and attended Alfred State College from 1971 to 1973.
Tim worked at Trico Industries for five years, CVS Pharmacy as the store manager for 19 years and was a tax preparer for H&R Block for seven years.
He was an active member of the Alumni of Theta Gamma Fraternity which he pledged while at Alfred, a member of the Eagles Club, Italian American Progressive Club, and the VFW Post 212. He was an avid sports fan and loved to follow his Raiders and Bills. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife Robyn of 39 years, one son,Christopher L. Phillips, of Bradford, two grandchildren Kylee Phillips and Konnor Phillips, one sister, Norma Mann, of West Palm Beach FL., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Floyd, Edward, Benjamin, and James Phillips.
Family will receive friends on Thursday December 20, 2018 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm & 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 372 East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, with Rev. Jay Tennies, pastor of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
