Marjorie A. Parrett

Marjorie A. Parrett, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, 85, of 268 South Ave. passed away, Monday, December 24, 2018 at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born March 6, 1933, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late George and Mildred (Burgess) Crum.

Marjorie attended Bradford HIgh School. She had been employed at Speer Resistor and  a clerk at Powells Pharmacy where she also cleaned the store. She enjoyed going to bingo. 

On October 27, 1956 in Bradford, she married Gordon L. Parrett, who died January 30, 1979.

Surviving is a daughter, Joan (Jeffery) Blaisdell, of Bradford, two grandchildren David Blaisdell and Michael Blaisdell, three great grandchildren, one sister Sally Weaver of TN, one brother Jack (Nancy) Crum of Aiken, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Thomas Gordon Parrett, two sisters, Betty O'Secky, and Joanne Buchanan, and five brothers, Bill Crum, Don Crum, Jim Crum, Tom Crum and Dick Crum.

At the families request there will be no services observed. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorials if desired, may be made to the  Multiple Sclerosis Society, National 1501 Reedsdale St., Suite 105 Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
