Irene Dolly Kilpatrick

Irene L. "Dolly" Kilpatrick, 71, formerly of Jefferson Street,  Bradford, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Olean General Hospital.

Born January 25, 1950 in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Lyle and Ruth F. (Sherrick) Kilpatrick.

She attended the Bradford Area High School.

Irene had worked as a bus driver for the Bradford Area School District, and later as a cook and a waitress at the DeSoto Motel.

To know Dolly, was to love her. It just couldn't be helped. She had a magnetism that would draw you in like a stray pup. Her laugh was infectious, and in a room full of voice and laughter, you'd recognize it as hers amoung the rest, and be forced to smile, knowing whom it came from, and that you were moments away from good times, once again. Her joy was her family and drawing beautiful pictures.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne Kilpatrick, and Timothy (Shannon) Kilpatrick, both of Bradford, two sisters, Fannie (Clifford) Parrot, of Bradford, and Lois (Ralph) Miller, of Hillsboro, OH, one grandson, Keegan Kilpatrick, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marjorie Gilbert and three brothers, Edward, Lyle, Denny Kilpatrick, and Joseph Peters.

Services will be held at a later date and time. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Home Inc.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
