Barbara J. Jacks, 84, of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at The Pavilion @ BRMC. 

Born October 18, 1936, in Coudersport, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Margaret Johnston.

She was a 1956 graduate of Port Allegany High School.

Barb was formerly married to Lawrence R. Jacks who preceded her in death on May 8, 2006.

She worked for her father at Johnston's Bakery in Port Allegany.

Barb was a member of New Life Fellowship Church, formerly Foursquare Gospel Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Shari Jacks, of Bradford, Mary (Joe) Sostakowski, of Bradford, and one step daughter, Paula Skinner, of Eldred, three sons, L. James Jacks, John A. Jacks, and David W. Jacks, all of Bradford, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one step daughter Barbara Ann Jacks, and three brothers, James, Glenn, and Jerry Johnston.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 11:00am at the New Life Fellowship Church, formerly Foursquare Gospel Church with Rev. Matthew McDonald, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Port Allegany.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
