Alma Marie Hurd

Alma Marie Hurd, 84, of Nichols Run, Limestone, NY, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Olean General Hospital.

Born in Omer, MI on February 5, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Violet (Jones) Miller. She was a 1958 graduate of Limestone High School.

On June 6, 1960 in Bradford, she married B. Richard Hurd, who preceded her in death on March 19, 2007.

Alma was employed as an artist for Zippo Manufacturing Company for over 34 years.

She was a member and very actively involved at People's Christian Fellowship Church, and volunteered for and contributed to Right to Life. 

Surviving are two sons, Richard (Katrina) Hurd, of Bradford, and Kenneth Linda) Hurd, of Limestone, one brother, Robert Miller, of Midland, MI, 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several cousins, including Kathy Hurd

Friends will be received on Wednesday October 13, 2021, from 11:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 372 East Main Street, at noon funeral services will be held with Rev. Robert Hurd, Pastor of the Whitestown Road Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorials if desired may be made to the Peoples Christian Fellowship Church of the Right to Life.
