Jeffrey A. Reed

Jeffery A. Reed, 58, of Rt.59 Marshburg, passed away, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at his residence. 

Born on March 27,1963, in Bradford, he was a son of Frederick and Charlotte (McGuire) Reed who survive. He attended Bradford schools. 

Jeff worked in the oil fields for John Stark, at Bradford Forest Products, and the sawmill for Charlie Hevitin and Galati Excavating. He last worked for W.R. Case Cutlery.

He cherished all his animals, but especially his dogs Ebby, Shadow, Shotzie and Sheba.Jeff loved to watch old western movies, his favorite was Lonsome Dove. Most of all he loved being surrounded by his family, Darlene, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their children. He spoiled his grandchildren,never telling them no. Jeff had the kindest heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Jeff was fond of spending time around a bonfire. He enjoyed spending time traveling and was able to see the beauty nature has to offer.

Surviving are two daughters, Stefanie (Tyler) Reed, of Bradford, Angela (Allen) White, of Bradford, one son, Timothy (Guinn) Abrams, of Brook Indiana, his former wife Darlene Venezia-Skaggs, two brothers, James Reed, of Eldred, and Robert (Theresa) Reed, of Bradford, his grandmother, Mary Harris of Bradford, grandchildren Owen Tingley, Julia Abrams, Wynston Abrams, Violet Abrams and Jade Garwood.

He was preceded in death by one brother Steve Reed, and one nephew, Aiden Davis.

Services are private at the convenience of family.
