Margo Frenz Bell

Margo Frenz Bell, 77, of Olean, NY passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022, at her residence with her family at her side.  

She was born in Bradford, on December 13, 1944, to the late Robert L. Frenz, Sr. and Martha Moore Frenz.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, John W. Frenz, of Bradford.

Margo was a 1962 graduate of Bradford Area High School. She was employed through the years at KOA Speer, the Olean Medical Group, and the office of Dr. Muhammed Javed.

Margo was an avid plant gardener with a sunroom full of assorted greenery that would be the envy of any greenhouse. She specialized in “Hens & Chicks” with an overflow now being enjoyed by family and friends. She loved the outdoors and often spent time at her childhood homestead, on Songbird Road in Bradford, checking on her favorite line of blue bird and chickadee houses.  She also made it part of her routine to visit with her cousin, Randy Moore.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Michael) Johnson, of Chattanooga, TN, three grandchildren who were the love of her life, Evan A. (Tiffany), Lauren K., and Patrick M. Byrne, of Chattanooga, TN, and of Evan, three great grandchildren, Avery, Mia, and Keely, one sister, Marie Frenz (Fred) Disney, of Lewis Run, and one brother, Robert L. (Jerrieann) Frenz Jr. of Findlay, OH.  Additionally, there were five nephews and three nieces and numerous cousins.  Also, there was a special family friend and foreign exchange student, Javier Calvo, from Venezuela.

There will be no visitation service at this time. A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to Welcome Home of Chattanooga and mailed to WHC, P.O. Box 4247, Chattanooga, TN 37405.  Or they can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
