Philip Mark Milliron

Philip Mark Milliron, 72, of Bingham Road, Cyclone, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, at his residence.

Born February 21, 1949, in Kane, he was a son of the late Lawrence Luke and Laura Louise (Fowler) Milliron. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1969.

Phil served in the United States Army from January of 1969 until September of 1970. He served in the Vietnam as a communications specialist. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon W/Device, and the Bronze Star. He was honorably discharged on September 5, 1970.

He was an equipment operator for the US Forest Service, prior to that he worked at IA Construction Corporation.

Surviving is one daughter, Jill Milliron, of Deerfield Beach, FL, two grandchildren, Joseph Furci, and Selen Libesthene, two brothers, Gary Milliron, of Gifford, and Larry Milliron, of McCormick, SC, and several and nieces, and caregivers, Jodi Irons and Amy Himes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Michael "Jim" Milliron, and two sisters, Carol Clark, and infant Kathy.

Family will receive friends from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Moody Hollow Cemetery with full military honors.
