Ronald J. Curcio

Ronald J. Curcio, Sr., 79, of 12803 W Allegro Dr, Sun City West, Arizona, passed away, Sunday, February 13, 2022, at home.

Born October 18, 1942, in Bradford, he was the son of Rocco Curcio and Isabel (Anderson) Curcio.  He was a 1960 graduate of Bradford High School, where he played football and attended machine shop.

In 1960 he enlisted in the United States Army where he served two tours of duty in Vietnam in 1964 and 1965 setting up the 8th Field Hospital and dispensaries in country.  He transferred to the United States Air Force as a Bio-Med Technician and later an Instructor for Bio-Med Technology.  After 20 years of service retired as a MSGT, Sheppard Air Force Base, August of 1980. While in the military he earned his bachelor’s degree.  

After retirement he lived in Antioch, CA and worked for Kaiser Permanente, Berkeley, CA.  He also owned Antioch Armory, Antioch, CA.  Was a member of the Antioch Corvette Club.

He retired again in the early 2000s and moved to Reno, NV and then to Sun City West, AZ.  He enjoyed traveling with wife Judi.  Was a member of the Sun City Metal Club and Automotive Restoration Club working on his Hot Rods.

Surviving is his wife, Judith (Milliorn) Curcio, two daughters, Kristen Curcio and Kelly (Curcio) Reese, two sons, Ronald J Curcio, Jr and Rickie Curcio, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren plus three on the way.

He will be laid to rest at the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
