Brian M. McLaughlin

Brian M. McLaughlin, 35, of Florence Avenue, Bradford, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Born August 16, 1987, in Mesa, AZ, he was a son of Jeffrey J. and Julia A. (Platko) McLaughlin who survive.

Brian was a 2005 graduate of Bradford High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and Main Campus.

He was employed at Keystone Powdered Metals in Lewis Run as a Lab Technician.

Brian loved to fish, workout and was a bodybuilder, he had a great laugh and a big smile.

Surviving in addition to his parents Jeff and Julie McLaughlin, of Bradford, is one sister, Emily McLaughlin, of Bradford, his maternal grandfather Steve Platko of Bradford, his paternal grandparents, Robert Henry McLaughlin of Marshburg, and Sandra Roulo of Lewis Run, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sue Ann Platko, and paternal grandfather Joseph Roulo Sr.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Brian's Life on Saturday September 3, 2022, at 2:00pm at the American Legion Post 108.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the American Cancer Society 2115 West 38th St. Erie, PA 16508.
