We are so sorry for your loss. We will cherish the painting of my childhood home Steve did for my mother Shirley Pugh. Every time we see it we will think of Steve and his amazing talent and generosity. So grateful we have a part of him forever in our lives.

I had no idea what an accomplished man Steve was! He lived a wonderful life from the sounds of it, and, pretty sure "husband" and "father" was his proudest role. Many warm thoughts coming your way Jennifer and Katie. Praying for strength and peace for yous in coming days.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve a number of years ago, he was a good man who cared for all, no matter who you were. We will miss him for sure. Rock on Mahoney.

We will remember Steve as one of the greatest characters we've had the privilege of spending time with. His humor and storytelling made many a long trip seem like a quick drive across town. He lifted us up and other vets as well, many of whom were also feeling crummy themselves. One story about an experience at Cuba Cheese will not soon be forgotten by anyone who heard it. He spoke often of his wife and Katie — he was so proud of her! Rock on, Steve, and enjoy the snowy silence of the forest.
