Richard H. Newton's Condolences

I have many great memories of my grandfather over the past 34 years. We always enjoyed going for rides, whether it was in the forests of McKean County, or Amish farmlands. We worked on many projects together over the years. It felt like a real honor when he let me operate his Simplicity snowblower all by myself! He always did his best with providing me all of the latest weather observations from West Washington Street - like how much snow fell, and how cold it got. I certainly will never forget his famous buckwheat pancakes! Going to Bradford will never be the same. Rest In Peace Pop.

I feel very fortunate to have known “Poppa Dick,” both in person and through stories from Lucas. We’ve shared many laughs and smiles talking about Poppa Dick’s personality and fiery spirit. Condolences and love to the family.

Dear Greg and Family, So sorry to hear of your Dad''s passing. Lots of memories when we were growing up especially making ice cream with the old crank ice cream maker. He had a long life, loving family and many friends. May God bless you all with a sense of peace knowing he is again with your Mom and Julie, smiling down on all of you.
