All of my heart bleeds for the carns family, some of the fondest memories were working with Jack at the city parks department while on summer leave from school for him and college for us kids. He was a blast to work with. I remember one time him and Bruce went fishing and got stuck after work they had a long night as they were both tired when we came in to work. The jokes and stories told in the garage at Callahan park. Then I would always see him at the Townships meeting as he was coming officer and he would call me by name 29 years later. Us kids who worked at Callahan, loved paint day be both of the bosses Bruce and Jack would be occupied all day and could just goof off all of that day as they were painting. Many good memories of Jack our community lost a great guy. Rest in peace Mr. Carns

Sue...I’m SO very sorry to hear about Jack’s passing. He was one of my absolute favorite guys on the Big 30 Committee. When I was stressed and worried about fielding the teams, he always had something funny or insightful to say to put me at ease. I guess it was because he had been through it so many times but it was so helpful. You’re both amazing people. He will definitely be missed.

Dear Sue
I am so sorry to learn of Jacks passing. I am so glad I gave him the fireman / dalmatian figurines of my dads, I know he enjoyed them.
You were able to make your trip and enjoyed every minute of it. You were blessed to be able to have that time together.
I am here if you need anything.
Fondly
