Mary E. Crattie

Mary E. Crattie, 88, of Bradford, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019, at The Pavilion @ BRMC. 

Born December 25, 1930 in Reynoldsville, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Monroe and Pauline (Wylam) Lindy. She was a 1948 graduate of Bradford High School.

On October 23, 1954 in the First Baptist Church she married Donald E. Crattie who preceded her in death on October 12, 2006.

Mary had been employed at Bradford City Treasurers Office, later at the Bradford School District as an Aid, and retired in 1996 from Daggett Accounting.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, and Eastern Star. She was treasurer of the Bradford High School Marching Owls Boosters Club, and was a Brownies and Girl Scout Leader. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She never missed a chance to baby-sit, take them to appointments, practices, ball games or just spend time with them. 

She is survived by one daughter, Debra (Steve) Caskey, of Bradford, two grandsons, Donald Caskey, of Farmington, and Patrick Caskey of Bradford, one brother, George T. (Sandy) Lindy, of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday June 18, 2019, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Avenue, where funeral and committal services will be held at to 5:00 PM with Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, retired Presbyterian minister, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park,
