Philip B. Campbell
Philip B. Campbell, 65, of Nichols Run, Limestone, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023.
Born December 20, 1957, in Bradford, he was a son of Fay E. (Marvin) Campbell, of Limestone and the late Lyle R. Campbell. He was a 1976 graduate of Limestone Free Union.
On June 30, 1984, in Limestone NY, he married Karen (McMurtrie) Campbell, who survives.
Phil worked as a machinist for Dresser-Rand in Houston TX, later McKean Manufacturing and Topline in Bradford, and for more than 33 years at Dresser-Rand in Olean.
He enjoyed working on projects in his garage, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Sharks Flying Club in Eldred, and the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
Surviving in addition to his mother Fay, and wife Karen of 39 years, is one daughter, Jennifer Campbell, one son, Ryan Campbell, both of Limestone, four grandchildren, Sophie, Harper, Payton, and Celia, two sisters, Carrie Parsons, and Kate (Kent) Wesmiller, one brother, Andrew (Lindy) Campbell, all of Limestone, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Marvin O. "Bus" Campbell.
Private services will be held for the family at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department.
