Sandra L. Clancy, 81, of Bradford, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Bradford Manor.
Born September 13, 1942, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Ruth (Keesler) Newton. She was a 1960 graduate of Bradford High School.
On October 26, 1968, in Port Allegany, she married Edward G. Clancy. They enjoyed 46 years of wonderful memories with one another and their families.
Sandy worked at Zippo Manufacturing, Intermediate Unit 9, Glendorn and later as a housekeeper for Harriett Wick.
She was a former member of Duke Center United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Group. Sandy had a very strong connection to God as she could be found reading her Bible and completing her Our Daily Bread devotions throughout each day.
Sandy was a loving and kind person who could always put a smile on your face or at least make you laugh. She loved to play cards and dominoes, and any activities they had out at the manor.
Surviving are three sons, Steven (Heather) Anderson, of Auburn GA, Shawn (Terri) Clancy, of Duke Center, and Eric Clancy, of Bradford, 11 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed, four sisters; Beth Rebon, Mary Jane Coldren, Barbara Frank, and Nancy Blum, and three brothers; Richard Newton, Lynn Newton, and Rodney Newton.
Family will receive family and friends on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Church of Christ, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am with Rev. Rick Price, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at McKean Memorial Park.
