Homer F. Mott Jr.

Homer F. Mott, Jr., 62, of Emery Towers, Bradford, passed away, Thursday, October 19, 2023 at his residence. 

Born June 27, 1961, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Elva Pearl (Reinard) Mott and Homer F. Mott, Sr. 

He attended Bradford High School and was employed at The Bradford Club for 30+ years. After he retired, he worked part-time at Walmart as a Greeter. 

He was a member of The Moose Club, an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling. He enjoyed playing cards and his favorite hobby was fishing. 

Surviving is his companion of 20 years, Cathleen Skaggs, one daughter, Tiffany Mott, of Bradford, two sons, Justin Mott, of Bradford, Jacob (Amanda) Mott, of Jamestown, NY and two Step -Sons, Randy (Desiree) Skaggs, and Christopher Skaggs, both of Bradford, two grandchildren, Bentlee, and Enslee Skaggs, five sisters, Mary (Paul) Conners, of Lafayette, Sandra Billsborough, of Bradford, Harriet (Mike) Irons, of Bradford, Brenda Herring (Ray), of Munday, TX, and  Sherry (Tommy) Johnson, of Houston, TX, one brother, Harold E. (Denise) Mott, of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jason Mott, one sister, Bertha "Cookie" Weaver, one brother, Harry Mott, and his former wife, Debra J. Mott.

A Celebration Of Life will be held, for Homer, on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Bradford American Legion Post 108, followed by a service with Paster Jerry Stauffer, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Lung Association or a charity of the donor's choice.

Homer had been a friend of ours for years we use to play 21 together along with his sister and mom I remember one time we lived on Willard ave and homer and my husband killed a skunk with a rock and omg that smell didn’t leave for about 2 weeks they laughed he was such a great man we loved homer ??????
