Geno DeFilippo

Geno DeFilippo, 83, of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Olean General Hospital. 

Born on September 21, 1940, in Olean, NY, he was a son of the late Mario and Ida (Moyer) DeFilippo.

He attended Bradford Area High School

On May 19, 1962, in Smethport, he married Martha (Good) DeFilippo, who survives.

Geno was a self-owner operator of GM DeFilippo Trucking.

He loved to watch the Buffalo Bills, golfing, NASCAR, NCAA, and the World Series.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 61 years, are four daughters, Regina Gann, Kay Stull Christina DeFilippo, and Cynthia (Dave) Robinson, two sons Joseph DeFilippo and Anthony DeFilippo, 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, David DeFilippo, who preceded him in death on August 19, 1999, two brothers, Edward DeFilippo, and James DeFilippo, and one grandson, Peter James Stull, Jr.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 14, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Avenue, where on Wednesday, funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, with Fr. Jim Gutting, officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
