Gregory L. Cannon

Gregory L. Cannon, 67, of 500 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 7, 1957, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Foster W. and Frances C. (Pace) Cannon. He was a 1975 graduate of Bradford High School.

On May 10, 1986, In Friendship NY, he married Teri L. (Sutherland) Cannon who survives. 

Greg was a self-employed contractor for over 30 years in the Bradford area owning Cannon Contracting.

He was a member of St. Francis Church, a former member of the Italian Club, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for golf, and was a die-hard Chicago Bears fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife Teri of 38 years, is one daughter, Jessie Cannon-Butler, of Bradford, four grandchildren, Breyen Cannon, Tyson, Dillon, and Brooklyn Butler, two brothers, Paul (Julie) R. Cannon, and John C. Cannon, all of Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Foster Cannon who died September 14, 2017, and Matthew Cannon, who died May 21, 1994.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 372 East Main Street, at 6:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Zoey Hatcher, Pastor of Open Arms Church and Rev. Edward Walk, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942, or the charity of the donor's choice.
