Terry E. Boyle

Terence E. Boyle, 78, of 15 Crookerhouse Lane, Bradford, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his residence.   

Born April 29, 1946, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Eugene and Marian (Souders) Boyle. 

Terry was a 1964 graduate of Phillipsburg Catholic High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy, he did his basic training at Lake Erie, PA., served in Bethesda, MD., Guam and San Francisco upon the USS Kennebec, and was honorably discharged in 1968. 

On October 25, 1969, in St. Bernard Church he married Judith A. (McKee) Boyle who preceded him in death on April 4, 2012.  

Terry was employed at Kendall Oil Company, the Radio Station, WESB and the department store, ‘Man’s World,’ after the service.  

Terry was a member of St. Bernard Church. 

Surviving is one daughter, Erin Seeker, of Harrisburg, two grandchildren, Logan Seeker and Bella Tia Seeker, two sisters, Mary Ann Heater, of Nazareth, and Kathryn Boyle, of Alpha, NJ, three brothers, Michael (Mary Ann) Boyle, of Phillipsburg, NJ, Rev. Patrick D. Boyle, OFM, of New York City NY, and Eugene (Virgina) Boyle, of Alpha, NJ, and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judy, and one daughter, Bridget Boyle who died December 17, 2022. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 12 o'clock noon in Saint Philip & St. James Church, 430 South Main Street, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. Burial will be accorded in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Bernard Church Building Fund, or the charity of the donor's choice.
