Dorothy Marie Null, 100, of 47 Mountaintop Road, Gifford, passed away Sunday September 1, 2024, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born July 12, 1924, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late William and Clara (Benson) Reigel. She attended Kane High School.
On February 8, 1943, in Kane, she married Joseph E. Null Sr., who preceded her in death on November 29, 2017.
Dorothy worked in housekeeping at the Bradford Hospital.
She was a member of the Lafayette Evangelical Church, and a former member of the Cyclone Free Methodist Church, the Gifford Methodist Church, Rebecca Lodge in Rew, and the Hilltop Fire Department Auxiliary.
Surviving are three daughters, Christine (Nicholas) Arena, of Phoenix, AZ, Diane Null, of Bradford, and Barbara (Raymond) Beverage, of Yorktown, VA, one son, Joseph E. (Laura) Null Jr., of Cyclone, one sister, Mary (Allen) Dickerson, of Utica NY, one brother, Frank Reigel, of Silverton, OR, eight grandchildren, Megan Beverage, of Yorktown, VA, Andy Beverage of Stafford, VA, Nick Arena, of Litchfield Park, AZ, Pat Arena, of Seattle WA, Brandon Arena, of Overland Park, KS, Joe Null, of East Petersburg, Jim Null, of Martindville WV, and Bill Null, of Lancaster, seven great grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel, Emma, Addy, and Declan Null, Dominic and Owen Arena, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe, two infant children, one grandson, Daniel Mark Beverage, and one granddaughter, Isabelle Null, three brothers, James, Harry, and Don Reigel, two half sisters, Clarice Stewart, and Ruth Cory, four half brothers, Bill, Jack, Wilson and Robert Reigel.
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 33 South Avenue, and again on Saturday from 10 am to 11 am the Lafayette Evangelical Christian Church, followed by funeral services at 11 am with Rev. Doug Strang, officiating. Committal services and burial will follow in Bridgeview Cemetery in Mt. Jewett.
