Richard P. France Jr.

Richard P. France, Jr., 59, of Emporium, formerly of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, August 28th, at Guy and Mary Felt Manor, in Emporium . 

Born June 14, 1965, in Bradford a son of Richard Paul and Bonnie Louise (Conklin)France, Sr.

He attended Bradford Area High School. 

On May 21, 2011 in Bradford he married Nicole Beth (Taylor) France who survives. 

He was employed at Corning Glass, Walmart, and was a truck driver for Appalachian Transportation for 30 years, and as a golf cart mechanic in his spare time. 

He loved NASCAR, dirt track racing, collecting pens, and flashlights. 

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents, are three sons Aaron (Taylor) France, of Bradford, Joshua (Carol) France, of Summersville SC,  Michael (Tori) France, of Summersville SC, three step daughters, Alyssa Taylor, of Olean NY, Alexys Taylor, of Buffalo NY, Taylor Losey, of Bradford, three grandchildren Jacob France, Blake France, Silas Britton, one sister, Becky (Bob) Hartle, of Bradford two nieces and his dog Lacy.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department, the American Cancer Society.

Dicky was a child hood friend, we often played on Harrisburg Run and in the field between our houses. We lost touch after Graduating Highschool. My condolences to his family.
