Timothy E. Newhouse

Timothy E. Newhouse, 62, of 70 Ryan Road, Mt. Alton, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Born June 22, 1962, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Richard E. Newhouse and Mary (Swartzfager) Newhouse O'Connell who survives.

Tim was a 1981 graduate of Bradford High School.
 
Tim was employed at Sehman Tire Service, Georgia Pacific, and Lafayette Township.  He was employed at Lafayette Township for 26 years, including as a Road Foreman, until his retirement. 

He was a past member of the Eagles, American Legion, American Italian Club and the VFW.  Tim loved everything with a motor including cars, snowmobiles, and motorbikes. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends. 

Surviving is his mother and stepfather, Thomas and Mary O'Connell of Mt. Alton, his two sons, Tim (Gina) Newhouse and Brian (Rachel Nortum) Newhouse, one sister, Ruth (Mark Keyes) O'Connell of Mt Alton, three brothers, Jim (Carolyn) Newhouse of Bradford, David (Angela) Newhouse of Halifax, and Joseph O'Connell of Mt. Alton, one step sister, Beth O'Connell of Elyeria OH, several nieces and nephews, two sister-in-laws, Georgia Newhouse, and Barbara Newhouse, both of Bradford, his grand-dogs, Junior and Meckenzie, and his step-grandson, David Nortum.
 
Tim was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, Michael Newhouse and Richard “Dick” Newhouse, and one stepsister, Susan (O'Connell) Terry.

Family will receive friends on Monday September 16, 2024, from 4 to 6 PM at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. at 33 South Avenue., where prayer services will be held immediately following at 6:00pm. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life gathering  will occur at a later date.
 
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to Kids and Cancer Benefit Run at PO Box 1299, Bradford PA 16701 and the Bradford Eagle Riders for Autism FOE 2432, Bradford PA 16701.

I remember in elementary school when it seemed like I was the only left-handed kid and Tim sold me a left-handed baseball glove for $5. Even in childhood memories, I remember Tim is being kind. He left a lifetime of memories for all of us. He truly will be missed.
