Michael B. Monti

Michael  B. Monti, 60, formerly of Williams Street, Bradford, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Bradford Manor, surrounded by his loving family. 

Born on September 28, 1963, in Bradford, he was the son of the late G. Bruce Monti and Anita (Colosimo) Monti. Mike attended Ramsbottom School.  

He worked for Pizza Hut and later Futures for over 30 years.

Mike enjoyed swimming, bowling and watching football and baseball, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates, and attended a game every year. He enjoyed video games and participating in the Special Olympics.

Surviving are two sisters, Melissa K. (Stafford) Young, of NC, and Lynn M. Monti, of Pittsboro, NC, one brother, Patrick C. (Heather) Monti, of Gifford, and his step mother, Beth Monti, of Bradford, one step brother, Scott (Julie Schoeneman) Pingie of Derrick City, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one step brother Andrew Pingie.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Avenue, where at 1:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Max Simms, Pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the McKean County Special Olympics, PO Box 101, Bradford PA 16701.
