Robert V. Fee, 84, of Rodgar Lane, Bradford, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at The Pavilion @ BRMC. He passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side and his wife holding his hand.
Born March 1, 1940, in Indiana, he was a son of the late Glenn W. and Florence Anne (Baker) Fee. He attended grade school in Warren and was a 1958 graduate of Oil City High School.
On October 23, 1959, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He had one year of foreign service with the 301st Bomb Wing, SAC, and was honorably discharged on October 22, 1963.
On July 17, 1965, in the Southminster Presbyterian Church in Mount Lebanon, he married Sue Anne (Gross) Fee. Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. After nearly 60 years of marriage, it is hard to describe the bond and relationship between Bob and Sue. It was simple, constant and true. The love they shared was evident to all who knew them. He always put his family first, either as a coach or cheering from the stands, he was his kid’s biggest supporter at their events and activities. His love for his family was closely rivaled by his love of the Steelers and Pirates!
Bob was employed at Sherwin Williams Paint Store, Bradford Pipe and Supply, Bovaird Supply Company, and finished his working career as a Sales Associate at Walmart.
Faith and service played an important role in his life, serving as an Elder at First United Presbyterian Church, a member of First United Methodist Church and Riverstone Community Church. Bob was also active and served many roles in the Bradford Lions Club since 1970.
Bob is survived by his wife Sue of 59 years, one daughter, Nancy Bachinsky, of Pittsburgh, one son, Douglas (Jean) Fee, of Richmond VA, four grandchildren, Ethan (Lexie) DeRubbo, and Madison DeRubbo, Samantha Fee, and Zachary Fee, and three step-grandchildren, Cody (Morgan) Wilson, Zach Wilson, and Jared Wilson, one brother, James (Penny) Fee, of Oil City, and many nieces and nephews.
At this time no public services are planned. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Bradford Upbeat Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, the Bradford Public Library, or the McKean County SPCA.
