Robert C. Ezzolo

Robert C. Ezzolo, 89, of Derrick City, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Olean General Hospital, surrounded by his family. 

Born January 24, 1935, in Olean, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Helen (Dubetsky) Ezzolo.

He was a 1955 graduate of Otto Eldred High School where he was a star football and basketball player.

On May 23, 1959, in Bradford, he married Nancy E. (Merry) Ezzolo who survives. 

Bob worked for Harvey Aluminum in California, he and his wife formerly owned the Keystone Restaurant Bar in East Bradford, and he was formerly an active member and Administrator for Bradford Moose Lodge #124. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf.

In addition to his wife Nancy, of 65 years, he is survived by two daughters, Jamie Ezzolo, of Bradford, and Christy Wallace, of Phoenix AZ, one sister, Catherine (Jim) Gocella, three brothers, Dan (Deb) Ezzolo, David (Patti) Ezzolo, and Tom (the late Sharon) Ezzolo, four grandchildren, Mathew Staub, Jared Caldwell, Robert Wallace, and Dustin Wallace, five great grandchildren, Ryley, Luke, Hailey, Makir, and Carter, a special family friend Sherri Lineman, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Beth Ann Ezzolo, who died November 19, 1991, one brother, Dean Ezzolo, and one sister, Joanne Coast.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:00 am to Noon at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main St., followed by funeral services at Noon with Fr. Edward Walk, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
