Christine Perkins

Christine L. Perkins, 71, of 59 Harding Avenue, Bradford, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 20024, at The Pavilion @ BRMC. 

Born December 28, 1952, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Katherine (Ledden) Ray. 
She was a 1970 graduate of Bradford High School. She also was on the Rifle Team that won the Nation Championship. She later received an associate’s degree in business from the New Castle Business College.

On May 7, 1977, in St. Francis Church she married Mike Perkins, who survives. 

Chris was formerly employed by Warner Cable, the Fishkin family. She worked over 20 years at McCourt Label, and prior to her retirement she was the Office Manager at the American Cancer Society.

Chris was a member of St. Bernard Church, Catholic Women's Club, Bradford High Alumni Association, Ladies Investors of Bradford, the Tuesday Ladies Lunch Group. She was a member of the Monday Night Bowling League, and she volunteered at the Polls
 
Surviving in addition to her husband Mike of 46 years, is one sister, Pamela (Joe) Atha, of Charleston WV, two brothers, James (Denai) Ray, of Rome NY, and Patrick (Paula) Ray, of Rochester NY, and several nieces and nephews, who she loved very much. 

Family will receive friends on Monday October 21, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 372 East Main Street, where a prayer service will be held Tuesday, at 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Francis Church with Rev. John Jacquel, Pastor as Celebrant. Committal services and Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Bradford High School Alumni Association, Kids for Cancer, or the Building Fund at St. Bernard Church.
