Susan E. Hughes
Susan E. Hughes 66 of Bradford, passed away Tuesday January 13, 2026, at Olean General Hospital.
Born March 18, 1959, in York, she was a daughter of the late Rowland
and Martha E. (Burritt) Hughes.
Susan was a graduate of Warren High School. She attended the University of
Pittsburgh at Bradford and went on to earn her master’s degree in business.
She was an Administrator at the Bradford Manor, former Treasurer for the Church of the Nazarene, the Secretary for First United Methodist Church, and was employed as a stenographer at the McKean County Courthouse.
Susan loved peanut M&M’s and reading good books and the Bible. Susan was a person that loved to help others in need but never wanted recognition, she loved working in the background. Susan will be deeply missed.
Surviving is a sister, Camile Thayer, of Warren, one brother, Dan Hughes, of Buffalo, two stepbrothers, Brad Carlson and Jeff Carlson, six cousins, Brian Lineman, Jeffery Lineman, Craig Lineman, Nathan Lineman, Erin Holmes and Treena Holmes and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 07, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the Bradford Church of the Nazarene, where at 11:00 am a Celebration of Life will be held with Rev. Josh Haney, Pastor, officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
