Kevin Newton

Dayle Kevin Newton, 69, of Bradford, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Bradford Manor.

Kevin was born in Izmia, Turkey on December 8, 1956, he was a son of the late Dayle and Jean (Haven) Newton.

On July 15, 2000, in Rew, he married Pamela A. (Warren) Newton, who survives.

He was a 1974 graduate of Bradford High School, and a graduate of Clarion State College and Lycoming University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Kevin worked at Prudential Insurance Company after graduating.

On February 2, 1988, he enlisted in the United States Army. He was wounded in Iraq. While in the service he was a Linguist. He was honorably discharged on May 1, 1992.

After his discharge he began working at the United States Post Office as the Postmaster in the Bradford Office. He was a member of the American Legion Post 108 of Bradford and the Veterans of Foreign War Post 212 of Bradford.

Kevin attended the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church in Lewis Run, the American Legion Post 108, and the Veterans of Foreign War Post 212 of Bradford.
 
Surviving in addition to his wife Pam who he has been with for over 30 years,are two step sons, Ryan Neilly, of Bradford, and Daniel Neilly, of Winter Park FL,  one granddaughter, Ayla Neilly, two sisters, Karen Pennington, of Bradford, and Cheryl (Trever) Wingard, of Pittsburgh, one brother, Steve (Patty) Newton, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by his sister Mary Denise.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday April 8, 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave. in Bradford, at 6 pm funeral services will be held with with Rev. Steven Beattie, Pastor of the United Pentecostal Church of Olean NY, officiating.
