Beverly A. Housler, 94 formerly of Erickson Drive Bradford passed away Saturday July 4, 2026, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born February 10, 1932, in Mt Jewett, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Alberta (Digel) Burdick.
Beverly was a 1950 graduate of Mt. Jewett High School and a 1953 graduate of the Bradford Hospital School of Nursing.
On October 3, 1953, at the Mt Jewett United Methodist Church she married Claude E. Housler Jr. who preceded her in death on December 21,2002.
Beverly was a Registered Nurse at Bradford Hospital, beginning her career in 1953 and later at the Bradford Regional Medical Center. She was also the bookkeeper for her husband’s Oil Field Contracting business for many years.
Beverly was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church.
Beverly and Claude enjoyed traveling and were members of the 40 Coachmen Travel Club. She was a volunteer at the Salvation Army and the Elf Fund. She was a quilter and member of the Kinzua Quilters Group, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving is one daughter Deborah L. (Fred) Moore of Victor NY, three sons, Stephen E. (Denise) Housler of Bradford, Bruce M. (Wanita) Housler of Gifford and Timothy A. (Iva) Housler of Girard, one sister Patricia (the late Robert) Lineman of Bradford, and one brother Wade (the late Penny) Burdick of LaPointe IN, eight grandchildren and 18 great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday July 11, 2026, from 10am to noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main Street. where funeral service will be held at noon following calling hours with Rev. Jay Tennies, Pastor of the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Committal Services and burial will be in Mt Nebo Cemetery Mt Jewett.
The Housler family wishes to offer their gratitude to the Bradford Visiting Nurses Association (Katie Alviti) and the staff at Chapel Ridge Assisted Living and The Bradford Ecumenical Home.
